Notwithstanding the showdown of stubbly ex-alcoholic quarterbacks and the proliferation of dominating defensive tackles, one of whom has a predilection for stomping opposing centers, we just can’t resist a war of the waistlines. LenDale White chewed through the Chiefs defense yesterday to the end result of 149 yards and three scores. Following the game, before hitting the locker room hoping not to get snared in any mouse traps, he detailed his 80-yard run for the press and the ensuing beer bath he got from Chiefs fans. Silly Midwesterners, you’re only supposed to throw empties at LenDale.
