Yesterday some college kids were taking in the final day of Bills training camp in Rochester, NY. Being the chill bros they are, they decided to throw a few bon mots the way of quarterback Trent Edwards. Reportedly, they loudly predicted Edwards would soon be benched in favor of Brian Brohm (inevitable). They even went as far as casting aspersions on Edwards’ choice of hairstyle and personal grooming.

None of this sat well with new Bills coach Chan Gailey who loudly chastised the group of rowdies and instructed Bills players to withhold autographs from the group. Gailey reportedly told them “”If you dog one of us, you dog all of us.”

Yesterday, Jay Glazer reported that Chan Gailey would be named the Bills head coach within 24 to 48 hours. Jay Glazer is NEVER wrong, and so it has come to pass. Gailey is expected to be announced as the Bills head coach at 2PM today. Also, the Bills have a GM named Buddy. I did not know that. I didn’t think it was legal to put people named Buddy in charge of anything in this country. Seems like that would be a sensible restriction.

After all Bills fans have been through – Jauron, Mularkey, Berman’s adoration – this Gailey hiring is perhaps the final insult. And so we at KSK have collected, as a way of cathartic release, heartfelt sentiments from Bills fans the world over regarding this massive turdbomb of a hiring.
