We do a lot of ragging on the gritty little scrapper around these parts, but cheers to Wes Welker for taking part in a celebrity fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Colo. There, he chatted with 11-year-old Delaney Clements, who has Stage 4 neuroblastoma. He ended up signing her head, which fortunately was her idea and not the Broncos receiver being like “DURR HURR YOU AIN’T GOT NO HAIR WHERE THERE’S SUPPOSED TO BE HAIR, I’MMA PUT MY NAME ON THAT!” Also noteworthy because cranium signatures are not a thing I’ve seen much of.
Good on ya, Wes!
I want more like this!
