48-year-old Tony Wiederkehr, an aerospace engineer who lives in Arlington, Wash., wanted to do something to honor the Seahawks. Naturally, he came up with the idea of dressing up as Marshawn Lynch to do a 42k cross country skiing marathon. He’s about that exhaustion, boss.

He completed the Engadin Ski Marathon in Switzerland on March 7, finishing 4,873 out of more than 13,000 skiers, though surely delighting hundreds of confused Swiss people along the course.

Wiederkehr carried a football the entire way, while the other skiers used the more traditional ski poles. He says he handed out 100 small Seahawks football helmets to children along the course.

That’s a nice tribute, even from a man who apparently grew up as a Steelers fan. As we learned from Marshawn’s arrival in Buffalo when he was drafted into the NFL, he’s no huge fan of snow.
