The first warning sign was the snow. Then, the machines started taking over before our very eyes. Now, two of our heroes are injured, and the end times appear to be drawing nigh.

Adrian Peterson was Week 14’s first casualty, going down in the first quarter of the Vikings game against Baltimore after injuring his ankle. His prognosis isn’t certain, as he appeared to be walking around on it shortly afterward — though he was carted to the locker room on one of the possessed John Deere robots for further tests.

Things don’t look as promising for Rob Gronkowski, who himself had to be helped off the field by our mechanical overlords after suffering what appeared to be a pretty severe knee injury.

Stay safe out there, folks. If you need me, I’ll be blogging the rest of the games from the fallout shelter in my parents backyard.
