With seven seconds remaining in the first half and the ball inside the Jaguars’ 1, the Chargers elected to try for the touchdown despite having no timeouts. Whether the Philip Rivers QB keeper was a designed play or an improv by the quarterback, the play ended hilariously/tragically short with the half expiring with no score. Pretty pathetic result, but against the Jaguars you can afford to take those kind of risks. However, if you look closely, Keenan Allen was open in the end zone as Rivers decided to run.
