The fourth preseason game is the cruelest of the bunch. It’s the closest to the start of the regular season and yet the most pointless. Probably why Seneca Wallace opted to retire instead of show up for the 49ers preseason finale when he knew he was getting cut anyway. But in the defense of the fourth preseason game: this happened. Redskins linebacker Rob Jackson tackled Buccaneers quarterback Mike Glennon and tackle Mike Remmers at once. Probably not enough to justify the existence of four preseason games, but still entertaining.
