Tom Brady went down during a Bucs-Patriots scrimmage on Wednesday when Adrian Clayborn pushed Nate Solder into the back of Brady’s leg. Brady left the field, consulted with Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels, then left to get examined in the team’s practice bubble.

As of now, there’s a whirlwind of misinformation, with a Bloomberg report (already discredited!) saying that Brady was full Pollarded with a torn MCL and ACL, thus ending his 2013 season before it began. We’ll wait until there’s something more concrete before we start printing the Adrian Clayborn Fan Club shirts.

On the other hand, with Ryan Mallett also hurt, this creates the potential for ample Tebow trolling of the football world. Though if Teebs does end up starting at quarterback, it’s for a team with a depleted receiving corps and still average defense. Which would make the enjoyment of watching the Patriots lose… oh, about the same, really.

UPDATE: Looks like Dreamboat is gonna be okay. No fan club for you, Clayborn.
