Given that Cam Cameron was the Ravens’ offensive coordinator for most of last season, it wasn’t a huge shock that the team gave him a Super Bowl ring. That’s just following the usual protocol of how this sort of thing plays out. Still, that the team finally ditched Cameron after years of him derailing Baltimore’s offense might have very well been what enabled them to win a title following several years of coming up just short. Ravens fans spent years fervently hating Cameron and his pass-happy playcalling, so it might be somewhat bittersweet for them to see him get a ring. Though it’s somewhat more comforting to think that it will always serve to him as a reminder that the best move a former employer ever made was getting rid of him.
