Adam Schefter shared the personal nugget that Cardinals general manager Steve Keim has three sons named Carson, Brady and Warner. Sure, it’s possible that it’s just a coincidence and the Keims gave their sons three preppie white kid names without any regard to Steve’s job. But now that the Cardinals have acquired Carson Palmer, it seems like the work of the XEROX OF FATE. Under Keim’s time with the team (he’s been with them for 14 years and was promoted to GM in January) they’ve had Kurt Warner and now Carson Palmer. Does this presage a Tom Brady signing in the future? Sure, I could totally see Arizona spending way too much to sign Brady to a one-year deal when he’s 42. Just kidding, Tom Brady would never play for the Cardinals. It’ll be Brady Quinn.
