The Jets suffered another decisive loss on Sunday, dropping the team’s record to a catastrophic 3-6, with Rex bounding angrily all over the sidelines with the prospect that his job as head coach could be in jeopardy. So distraught was Rex that apparently he was crying in the locker room after the 28-7 loss in Seattle.

In his postgame address to the team, Ryan got so emotional that he actually cried, according to several players. He was everything in the locker room — mad, frustrated, urging. And harsh. According to players, he asked the pointed question, “When are you guys going to believe?”

“C’mon, if we work at it, three of us can go down on the same girl at once. Haven’t any of you ever had a dream?”

As we said when Rex claimed that Rob Ryan cried after Sean Lee was lost for the season (fwiw, Rob claims Rex is full of shit about that), the Ryan brothers are men of big emotions. Whether that’s boisterous excitement, borderline disturbing lust or woebegone sadness. To cry is no less be a Ryan brother than paying a homeless guy to watch them take a shit. Go ahead, Rex, let it all out. We won’t judge.
