There are two showdowns of 2-0 teams in the late afternoon timeslot. Perhaps the most intriguing takes place in the Pink Taco, where the Cardinals play host to the Eagles for the first time since the 2008 NFC Championship Game. Of course, it will be the first chance Kevin Kolb faces the team that used him as trade bait for an extra cornerback a couple years back. Arizona and Philly played last season, but John Skelton got the start in the 21-17 Eagles win.

The game is also remarkable because both teams are heretofore undefeated even though the Eagles have turned the ball over 4,000 times, while the Cardinals keep winning in defiance of having Kolb under center. Which team will regress to the mean first!?

What’s more, it’s a duel between fan bases that for whatever reason have embraced the #Birdgang hashtag on Twitter, despite its overwhelming and readily apparent tardery. If you search the hashtag on Twitter, occasionally you’ll see the fan of some other bird team in a random sport appropriate it, but for the most part, it’s Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals fans embracing #Birdgang. It truly is a bizarre convergence of stupid people liking a specific stupid thing.
