Jags first-round pick Justin Blackmon already has DUI experience, having been popped for a drunk driving charge two years ago while at Oklahoma State. He was also underage at the time, making him a PK-approved precocious drunk. The maturation process for drunken recklessness is swift in Blackmon, as he’s not yet even into his rookie season, and the receiver already has been arrested a second time for driving under the influence, this time for blown a BAC at the astronomically CHUH CHUHish level of .24.

A Stillwater police officer pulled Blackmon over at 3:01 a.m. June 3 for going 60 in a 30 mph zone and driving left of center. It took Blackmon four blocks to pull his white Chevy Tahoe over at a gas station parking lot at the intersection of McElroy and Perkins Roads, according to a release from the Stillwater Police Department.

Aggravated driving under the influence means Blackmon’s blood alcohol content was above .15, according to Sergeant Brandon Ingham of the Payne County Sheriff’s Office.

If this list of highest BAC for athletes and fans from BadJocks is to be believed, Blackmon will be tied for 20th place with fellow NFLers Clark Haggans and Charles Woodson. Though I feel like this record must be given the proper context since drunk driving hasn’t always been as strictly enforced as it has been in the last 20 years or so. I bet the Patron Saint, among others, could have made a serious challenge for a top 10 bid.
