“That’s odd, who would steal thirty sack lunches?”

After opening with two road victories, the Dolphins come home for tonight’s game with the Jets. Coach Ryan’s boys should be full of piss and vinegar after smacking around the Patriots last week. Braylon eDWIrds won’t start, but is expected to play. But according to Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum, the benching isn’t due to Edwards’ arrest on Monday, but the hour at which it occurred…

“We felt he didn’t deserve to start based on the fact that … not for the arrest as much as going out and being out until 5 in the morning,” Tannenbaum said Sunday morning as a guest of Ian O’Connor on 1050 ESPN Radio.

So there you have it. If Bray had gotten arrested at a decent hour (before ten p.m., after all, it was a school night) then everything would have been hunky-dory.

Enjoy the game; and if you can’t enjoy the game, enjoy this…
