This would probably pass for hilarious in the Antarctic Circle; but seriously, if a couple of penguins can realize what a bad decision it was for the Cleveland Browns to sign Jake Delhomme, why couldn’t they? To be fair, when most of a typical day involves standing around in the snowy elements, that leaves a lot of time to think about other things. Like going out and buying a Ford Taurus, for example.

A lot of Delhomme’s problems seemed to be mental in Carolina, whether it be that he never recovered from the abysmal playoff game or he put too much pressure on himself after the huge contract. I’m hoping the move to Cleveland is enough to clear his mind and give him a fresh start, but if he starts off shaky, the Cleveland faithful will skeletonize him faster than pirhanas can take out a cow.

okay guys. jake is clearly a stop-gap quarterback. i’m a bit worried that they’ll draft clausen as their QB of the future, but until that happens, the signing doesn’t bother me.
Same earbud issue here, pretty sure (at least in my case) it’s because certain generation iPods destroy the right earbud.

Also, I want to be a homer and say that Delhomme will finally come back from his Tommy John surgery. But I really don’t think he will.
