Re: Wife Who Hates Female Drinking Partner: Either your wife is a bit irrationally overprotective (in which case there’s either something you’re not telling us, or something perceived on her part), or her spidey senses tingled and she recognized an attraction this woman has to you. In said instance I can totally imagine a woman electively eschewing the information that the other woman in question is in a committed relationship, and choosing instead to seek isolation (for you both) therefrom. If the reaction was as strong and immediate as you suggest, I don’t think having Friend-Woman try to cozy up to her is going to do anything but sincerely piss off your wife. Either way, if you’ve not previously transgressed and earned her suspicion, perhaps you should just try having a good old fashioned conversation about her feelings toward this other friend.

I guess I’m old-fashioned. I think when you get married or close to it, your need to keep a video of yourself fucking someone other than your significant other just seems odd and insecure at the very least. I’m wondering, if the situation were reversed and she found a tape of him fucking an ex (or several), would she be understanding? Or would she say it’s “different,” like some women think when they fuck around, it’s OK, because they really care about the dude and it’s about “love,” whereas when men fuck around it’s just about getting laid, so that makes it wrong. I definitely think he shouldn’t confront her in an assholish way and tell her that her ex-boyfriend seemed to be getting it better than he is, but since they now live together, I think he has a right to ask about it. Like, “Hey, I found this tape and wondered what it was and… just wondering why you’re still keeping it around.” Like I said before (and like Ape said yesterday), sex tapes aren’t the same as love letters or pictures of people not fucking. Sex tapes are about sex. Maybe he could use this as an opening (heh) to say something like, “Let’s make a tape of our own that will make you forget all about this one.” If she wants images of herself from when she was younger (however old she could possibly be right now, my guess is, she’s still in her twenties), hopefully she has pictures like that that don’t have another guy’s dick in them.

Also, why would a guy send a two paragraph letter to a SEX ADVICE mailbag about how he’s definitely not trying to nail the hot girl he works with?

@Matt – I wish my wife would have had a tape of her and her BF doing the nasty. I think you should talk to her about it. Or see if she would make one with you and ask if she has ever done this before. If you want to expand your sexual experiences, do not wait. Make your likes and wishes known… Lest you end up like married and miserable because I didn’t speak up for fear of her reaction.

@D – Marriage, in my own experience, did not change the sex and in fact made it worse. And for all that is holy, man up and go down on her. You might find you actually love (like myself!!). The reward could be ten fold (unlike myself).
