Your right to own a firearm (which can be vacated if say you are a felon) does not trump a businesses right to disallow firearms on their premises. The big stink in Washington DC (2008) was the Constitutionality of a district forbidding firearms. DC is a strange animal however.

On the state level, well I assume most follow the Federal guidelines (own et al).

Vis-a-vis Plax, yeah, he’s an idiot for a couple of reasons: one, you get a license for that thing. Two, you don’t carry, your ” posse ” carries, three, wtf were you doing fiddling around with it? (the handgun) as was mentioned prior – if he was carrying a Baretta, they not only have a double-safety, but the trigger pull on the first round out is not a simple flick of the finger. Even if you rotate the hammer back, that itself is not the same as say rotating your mouse.

What part of the Second Amendment guarantees your right to bring a gun to a nightclub and have it go off? If he had a Glock (which I heard he did) there’s no way it “accidentally” went off. On that gun you have to fully pull the trigger to discharge it. He’s an idiot. Enjoy your time Plax.
