A Few Seconds of Panic: Now priced for the blog reader demographic. Stefan Fatsis’ fantastic book A Few Seconds of Panic was recently re-issued in paperback (priced to move!), so if you never got around to reading this book the first time we recommended it strongly. It really is a great book whether or not you even care about the NFL (we’re guessing you do) so go ahead and pick up a copy. This new edition of the book also features an additional chapter on the next Redskins coach Mike Shanahan who was let go by the Broncos after the book’s initial release. For more Fatsis check out this morning’s On the DL Podcast. [Amazon]
I read it. It’s good.
Fuck those stupid drunken fucking kickers!! They’re not even real football players, or even Americans!!

“A Few Seconds of Panic” was going to be the title for my mailbag submission about losing my V-Card.
Keep the recommendations coming, Stoned Oprah.
A few seconds of panic? I’m more interested in a few paragraphs of mailbag

I don’t think this ADD riddled group of blog readers can handle two whole books. Then again, Drew’s book took me about 4 shits to read, so we’re not talking literary classics here.
/Books on tape maybe?
Whoa whoa whoa. Drew’s book, Ape’s book and now this? What do I look like? A billionaire?
People people, you can buy both books. They practically pay for themselves.
Paperbacks may be cheaper, but they’re not as good for throwing at people. Quite the dilemma.
She’s not fat, she’s just big boned.

next Redskins coach Mike Shanahan
Dear God
I fucked your fatsis.
I was going to buy Ape’s book, but you made this one sound so good, I just don’t what to do.
This new edition of the book also features an additional chapter on the next Redskins coach Mike Shanahan who was let go by the Broncos after the book’s initial release.
DON’T YOU PUT THAT CURSE ON ME, RICKY BOBBY!
Who is this guy?
FATSIS GOT SHANAHAN FIRED?!?!?!
