As a Pats fan, I can completely understand how much most other fan bases hate us and our team. I’d like to clear one thing up, however… there has been nothing joyless about being a fan of the last decade of Patriot football. Other than the ridiculous offense of the 18-1 year, it may not have been a flashy exciting team, but after a lifetime of feeling the way most of these ranters feel, it’s been very nice to have a calming sense of comfort about the way our team is run.

I got just upset when New England cut Milloy, let Vinatieri walk, traded Bledsoe (though I am a notorious Bledsoe defender)… but if the “evil Patriot way” actually works, it brings enjoyable stability instead of exciting volatility. Don’t get me wrong, I hate the Broncos and hope you crash and burn. I just don’t want you think the Patriots way isn’t fun.

I’m a 49ers fan, but it still almost brought me to tears. Having watched coaches and management dick around with my team for years now (thank God we now have Singletary!), I still can’t imagine how horrible it’d be to suddenly have Bellichik’s minion as your head coach.

Sure, Jay Cutler was sort of a whiny, sulking bitch – but man can he fucking play football. Try having Alex Smith as your franchise QB – everyone’s always talking about how he has such a “good attitude” and “great personal integrity.” Fuck that. I’ll take the bad attitude player over the Alex Smith any day. Trust me. Good attitudes are overrated. Cutler is awesome. McDaniels sucks balls. My condolences.
