Did you know every time a pedestrian dies in Costa Rica they paint an angel on the street? When I went to visit my brother, I thought “oh how cute” then he told me what they were for. Also, the number of armed home invasions increases every year, so an unemployed local can pick up extra money by being a security guard for a block of homes…and even more money by tipping off crooks as to when people aren’t home and what expensive shit is in the house. Also, there are cigarette stores and gun sellers inside the malls. The local beer sucks but the street vendor tacos are good assuming they actually contained beef and not lost tourists.

Anyway, the Brady wedding has apparently brought hundreds of dollars streaming into the local economy. (I’m sure wherever the party was, it was foreign owned.)
