Patriots’ captain Larry Izzo will testify for the government in their perjury case against Barry Bonds, whom I hear is some sort of a “base ball” player.
Florio at Pro Football Talk points out the obvious dichotomy between between the public’s reactions to doping in MLB and the NFL. We’re not sure if the double-standard in attributable to ignorance or apathy. Frankly, we don’t know and we don’t care.

Wait, is he talking about Barry Bonds or RodHar?
The difference between MLB and the NFL:
NFL: People only truly give a shit during the season and no one remembers or gives a shit about any stat except the Super Bowl winner. When the season is over, the only “football” topic on anyone’s mind is: waiting for next season.
MLB: People only truly give a shit when there aren’t actually any games on and it’s all about history stats, with no one remembering who won a particular World Series within 18 months of its deciding game unless something ridiculous like a ball going through someone’s legs happens. When the season is over, people watch football.
I’m not saying I’d kill a snitch, but you know, I’m just sayin’ he better not be walking around my fuckin’ neighbahood at night. Sal, amirite?

Stiches4Snitches tag is packed with win.
What I want to know is, as a Pats fan, what the hell did Larry Izzo need roids for? He sucks. He’s the linebacker version of Brian Russell, except Bill is smart enough to keep him on the bench for all defensive plays.
