Mcnabb picking up the phone to the Giants play calling booth (which is automatically patched into the booth once it’s picked up like a hotel phone) after he was run out of bounds with the game readily in hand = sore winner
Far be it for me to request some empathy or to indulge in some conjecture here but if the roles were reversed and Eli pulled that shit on the Eagles I would guess that Philly’s fanbase would not be, shall I say, happy. Am I wrong? Because maybe I’m misjudging the meek and mild Philadelphian fans and their soft-spoken humility and ready acceptance of jokes made at the expense of their team’s defeat.
However, I will give McNabb credit for apologizing to the team and saying “he shouldn’t have done it.” in his post-game press conference.
