I was young at the time of the first OJ trial, but I couldn’t understand it. There were people celebrating his acquittal and people completely outraged in their disbelief. NONE OF THEM were jurors, presumably they hadn’t seen all the evidence or heard from all the witnesses. I realize that it was widely televised, but I don’t see why people all across the country “knew” that they could decide it better than the jury.
At one point then, I was a bit of defender of OJ or at least of the criminal justice system. Of course, subsequently, he tried to publish that book and that could be construed as nothing less than baiting and taunting. So OJ basically made me look like an idiot, but he was acquitted and it’s over. Here he was convicted legally of a completely different crime. He showed no remorse. His statement sounded like he was forgiving the victims more than pleading for forgiveness himself. He absolutely belongs in jail for this crime for many, many years.
Fantasy is reality in the world today…

I agree with the funkadelic man. It seems OJ was set up this time. I don’t believe the Bitch ass judge would’ve called any other race “Ignorant”. He is not totally innocent, but the sentence and the degrading words could’ve been avoided.
I do believe he had a lot to do with the murders years ago, and set free. This is a way to get back… Although they could not give him life or death penalty for the 2007 charges, and no sentence is equal to a murderer. We have had white people kill black people and set free also. “Racist”.
