  1. Upstate Underdog Says:

I saw that about 30 minutes ago and figured it was only a matter of time before it showed up here or at Deadspin.

but Old School Patriots Fan wrote that and he probably considers the last 8 seasons old school. eat a bag of dicks.

As a citizen of Massachusetts, I would like to apologize to the universe for fuckwits like that.

  8. Slothrop Says:

I’d like Hog Hannah to introduce “OldSchoolPatriotsFan” to his fist.

  9. Matt's Hand Schaub Says:

From the Onion: Female Fans out for season due to knee injury.

  10. Monkey Business Says:

Unless they’re putting the patch on the players pants, directly over the asshole, I don’t think this will fly.

“But Monkey Business, why the asshole?”, you say.

    Two reasons:
    1) To remind Patriots fans and anyone who took Brady, Moss, or Welker for their fantasy teams exactly where they’re getting fucked this season. And…
    2) Because that’s where Brady likes it.

  11. theGrantimal Says:

    i don’t support genetic cleansing normally, but…….

  12. Loose Deuce Says:

My money says that someone wrote that as a joke. Think the WWL reads KSK? Not even Pats fan are that douchey …

  16. Slash Says:

It’s nice that even the developmentally disabled can enjoy watching professional football. We already knew they play professional football.

Zing! Thanks, I’ll be here all week.

  17. Animal Mother Says:

It must be a joke, there’s no such thing as an “Old School Patriots Fan” in New England.

Now “Old School Patriots Klan” on the other hand has been around for over 100 years.

  18. Matt Leinart's Beer Bong Says:

now, by old school he means 1997, which by New England standards might as well been during the revolution

  19. afxjzs Says:

there is absolutely no way that this was done in jest by a patriots hater posting this facetiously and playing the all-too-dumb ESPN rank-and-file webmonkeys like a fiddle. It could only have been posted by a real patriots fan who really believes this….

I’m a pats fan, and my main solace is that Brady’s injury will at least mean a bunch more Tommy from Quincy articles…. keep’em coming. Best requiring blogs on the site.

(the hines ward ones would be almost as good if you would realize that asians don’t switch the Ls with the Rs, they just can’t make an L sound… )

  20. Westbrook Is My Anti-Drug Says:

    RIP Randall Cunningham :(

  21. neworiginals Says:

Don’t you terr me how be lacist!

  24. Punch Rockgroin Says:

I think today, September 11th, should be remembered as Tom Brady Day.

  25. DeezNutz Says:

You guys don’t know satire when you read it, huh.

That had to be DJ Gallo who wrote that.

  26. Chazz_Goodtimes Says:

Do you think it possible that perhaps the gentleman posting the comment was attempting to be facetious? I know that type of high brow humor is almost exclusively found on “blogs” such as this one, but maybe, just maybe, Oldschoolpatriotsfan doesn’t actually believe that the league should wear a commemorative patch for quarterback who suffered an unfortunate, though not uncommon, season ending injury.

  27. Joe B Says:

Unedited version: “The ent-yah NFL should we-ah a DAAHHHHKKKIIEEE numbah 12 patch on the-yah jerseys far the rest of this he-yah season. We don’t Fackin dese-ay-ve this!”

They got a crack editing staff over there.

  28. Favre's Next Interception Says:

I heard the Pope is making Tom Brady a Saint.

  29. StuScottBooyahs Says:

No words. Really, how do you make fun of them when they’re doing it for you?

  30. The Stig Says:

“My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who’s going with the girl who saw Tom Brady pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it’s pretty serious.”

  31. martinriggs Says:

#12 in black will always be Ken “The Snake” Stabler to me. 12″ of black …..dat be Santonio

  32. Swig Says:

    http://sportsnation.espn.go.com/fans/OldSchoolPatriotFan/blog/posts/67084

    Facetious, maybe.
Bigger douche than you ever could have imagined, definitely.

  33. Chazz_Goodtimes Says:

    @Swig

When you’re right you’re right. Also from his post, “Dallas and Pittsburgh have already stepped up to the dinner table plate and done this.”

Dinner table plate? I don’t think I could mix metaphors that badly if I tried. Let the mocking resume!

  34. Spanky Datass Says:

‘they just cant make and ‘L’ sound.’
Now that’s lacist! Unintentionally and un-comedicly lacist.
I dated a Japanese girl, in Japan named Lisko. (you know, with and ‘L’)

  35. smurphette Says:

“When Brady was in Egypt-land, let my Brady go.”

    /Cameron Frye’d

  36. ognihs Says:

    no joke. only disgust.

  37. Pigs Says:

Ugh…as a real Pats fan (who actually finds the Patriot bashing on here hilarious), I also apologize for that douche on ESPN. I think they put that quote up there just to give you guys more ammo.

/I liked the Pats since Curtis Martin was their running back (I’m only 19, can’t remember anything earlier than that), so a bandwagon fan, I am not.

  38. Chazz_Goodtimes Says:

    @Pig

Don’t do that. Don’t justify your fandom to these animals. They think we’re all bandwagon fans, whether or not your first jersey was steve grogan, eugene chung (herro!), or white wes welker. Accept the fact that you’re being made fun of and embrace it.

/also pray for catastrophic injuries to the best players on all of their teams.

  39. Leigh Says:

/also pray for catastrophic injuries to the best players on all of their teams.

    Osi Umemyiora – done
    Shawne Merriman – done.

    List to be continued.

  40. Christmas Ape Says:

But wait – Pats fans don’t celebrate injuries to players on other teams. They’re too classy!

  41. stevieE Says:

Karma is a helluva thing. Too bad some season ending occurrence hasn’t put Belidick in the dirt so far. Oh well, I guess watching him keep his hoody mounted on tight all season will be a close consolation. http://www.betsportsweb.com/
