I just finished reading "Out of Bounds" and can thus report that Paul Pierce was actually stabbed INside a rap club in some seedy part of Boston (that doesn't narrow it down a whole lot, I realize).

Small point, but it was a great book for trashing the NBA, something I always enjoy.

Speaking of, when will KSK come up with an NBA v. NFL Top Ten Rapists list?

I think the stabbing (although while in high school) of Detroit Lion Charles Rogers deserves an honorable mention.

“Charles Rogers, an all-state wide receiver at Saginaw (Mich.) High School and All-American within recruiting circles, suffered a punctured lung after he was stabbed in the back with a fork during an argument in December.

Rogers, 17, suffered the wound on the same day he was named Gatorade Michigan High School Player of the Year…Rogers has committed to play football at Michigan State.

i think the monica seles stabbing is some serious competition for any other stabbings. it cost her more than two years of her prime and essentially ruined her even after she came back. And don’t forget that it happened while she was playing a match.
